Three Small Paintings

Wow! An amazing friend contacted Grohmann Museum and Chris Burger who got in touch with us to share these amazing small original paintings that they have. Check out these beautiful, small images!

The frames measure 19”x 16”, and the oval painting itself is 13” x 10.5”. So these are quite a bit smaller than the typical originals and prints.

The 2-6-6-2 steam engine is racing by a depot, collecting their orders. This monster 2-6-6-4 (I believe) is numbered 1978. Does anyone know what line and what depot this is?

The colorful 2-6-0 steam is numbered #127 and labeled L&N RR (Louisville and Nashville), with a consist of 4 freight plus caboose, passing a water crane.

The lower image is a more modern diesel, L&N #1231, probably an EMD GP38, followed by a helper engine and several freight.
